A celebration of Pen's life
The funeral service will take place at St Peter & St Paul's Church, Gringley on the Hill on Monday 24th February 2025 at 11.00 am followed by committal at Lea Fields Crematorium.
Please dress formally with a bit of sparkle.

Auntie Pen,
I don’t really know what to say other than we miss you still can’t believe waking up this morning I’m preparing to see my final goodbyes, you are such a big part of our lives and everyone around you. I still don’t have the heart to tell Kaynan whilst getting ready this morning he asked about you and asked if he could see you it god dam broke my heart, I will tell him one day I’m just not ready to tell myself yet. I miss you so much! Take care of Alfie, Buddy and Mog for me love you loads, Chris. 😘 xx

Penny was a beautiful bright light,
She could light up the gloomiest day,
With her cheerful smile and much laughter,
She could brighten the darkest of grey.
Now Penny’s bright light is in heaven,
Extinguished on Earth far too soon,
But we can see her light way above us,
In the sun, the stars and the moon.

Candles
Penny I remember you back in the late 1980s when you worked as a hairdresser in Lincoln and we would travel together on the train in the morning together and back and in the days when you could smoke on the train and we would eat Cadbury Boost bars together. You came out with me and amber my daughter s dad once we went to cantley where we played darts! And then I came across you again in the late 1990s and you cut my hair and amber's at your salon... Headmasters. You will be sorely missed Penny xxx
